India after 65 years of Independence

Independence Day, observed as one of the most prestigious day imbibed in the history of India, a day when whole nation stands together to celebrate the freedom, victory and glory of the nation. 15^th August, the date itself holds profound significance for every Indian and has bequeathed the nation with a feeling of immense pride and contentment.

The nation has travelled a long way after 65 years of independence. Today if we look back at the point from where we began our journey of independence we will realize that with our sacrifice we have been able to emerge as one of the recognized nations in the world. Time makes you learn a number of things in your life, so was the case with our country. We learnt a number of aspects with time. At the time of independence one of the major challenges faced by our country was to successfully stand as an independent nation. So far we have been able to overcome the challenge. We have done considerably well in various sectors. Economically speaking, India was dependent on other nations in the initial years of Independence but with progressing time we managed to stand on our feet and achieve self sufficiency. Be it agricultural, industrial or service sector, with our efforts we have been able to develop these sectors up to an extent that today we are being considered as one of the fastest growing economy in the world. Education, employment, Infrastructure, science and technology, all these areas have witnessed significant progress over the years. It’s true that there are certain areas which need to be looked upon, but we are sure that with time we will be able to eradicate our weakness and replace it with our strength.
